From the Christopher Phillips Rare Seed Collection R4--Release #4 on November 15, 2014. This is a very good tasting Capsicum chinense that has an enjoyable chinense-type flavor without overpowering heat. Pods are about 1.5 inches in length and ripen from green to yellow. Now, the big question - How did this variety get its name? This variety was obtained from Tim Osborn in San Diego, CA many years back who found it in his garden. The plant literally reached over 10 feet high and hit his rooftop! Based on this amazing feat, the variety was given a deserving name. Plant size and height will vary based on growing conditions, but we know given the right conditions, this one can be a monster.
