From the Christopher Phillips Rare Seed Collection R4--Release #4 on November 15, 2014. LIMITED OFFER: This is a rare, non-domesticated wild Capsicum species that produces thin oval pods about 3/8" - 1/2" in length that ripen from green to orange/red. Pods are very juicy and the heat level is mild to moderate. The pods 'pop' right off the calyx when ripe making for easy harvest. These plants grow wild in Bolivia and possibly other areas of South America. They are very unique due to having a very thin stalk and a low, compact 'wispy' growth habit. They also have a unique, beautiful small flower that is pure white with yellow anthers. The variety can produce a huge number of pods per plant and branches can sprawl quite a bit. If you are looking for something unique/different for the pepper garden, this is a wonderful choice.
Seeds can take up to 6-8 weeks for proper germination.
