From the Christopher Phillips Rare Seed Collection R7--Release #7 on September 3, 2015. This capsicum chinense variety produces very thick walled pods that ripen to a bright red shade. In Portugese, the name translates to 'Pig Snout'. We are not sure exactly how that name ties to the pepper. Pod shapes vary on the plant, but the picture shown is the most common phenotype produced. The peppers have an interesting floral flavor with fruity undertones as well. The variety produces many pods on a medium size plant.
