From the Christopher Phillips Rare Seed Collection R8--Release #8 on October 29, 2015 --- This Capsicum pubescens is from Ecuador. The CO designation is given to varieties from the Asian Vegetable Research Development Center (AVRDC) in Taiwan. This variety also is known as PI 355812 in the USDA database. The pepper are thick walled and quite juicy with a good heat level. They ripen to bright red. The peppers can range from 1-2 inches long.
Seeds can take up to 6-8 weeks for proper germination.
