From the Christopher Phillips Rare Seed Collection R7--Release #7 on September 3, 2015. Sometimes a plant just really catches one's eye. Well this is one that did just that one year in Christopher's garden. Years ago, this Capsicum chinense variety (collected in Trinidad by AVRDC in Taiwan) produced a gigantic bush of a plant that was just loaded to the max with pods. The pods were 1-2 inches long and ripen red. They have a tremendous flavor and made the best pepper powder Christopher ever had from this species. This one plant literally took over the whole side of the pepper patch that season!
